This world is using the Tourists' Guardian Angel Bot by Andras. What does that mean to you as a citizen? If you intend to go into tourist mode to build, you may want to read the tourists page. Even if you aren't going to, there are still some features that involve citizens.
You will be able to send telegrams to tourists and join them just like you can do with other citizens. However, the telegrams and joining is restricted to that world only. If you send a tourist a telegram in AWNewbie, the tourist has to read the telegram in AWNewbie. You won't be able to join a tourist if they are in a different world from the one you are in.
Here are the telegram and join commands you can use. Just whisper the bot. It's name may vary but in AWNewbie it will always be [GuardBot].
help:telegram
This will list the telegram commands.
telegram: or tg:
This command will check your telegrams and tell you how many you have.
telegram:read or tg:r
This command will read you any telegrams you have received.
telegram:username:message
This command will send a telegram to the citizen or tourist you have specified. If you send one to a tourist, you must include the tourist's quotation marks. For example, telegram:"Ryan":Hi! will send a telegram saying "Hi!" to "Ryan." The telegram format is the same as it for citizens.
join:username
This command will send a join request to the other person. It functions exactly like a citizen joining another one, with a request.
invite:username
This command will send an invite request to the other person. It functions exactly like the 3.5 invite feature. If you invite another person and they accept your request, they will appear at your location.
Similiar to the block options available on your contact list, these commands will help you with privacy. You can whisper help:privacy to get a list inworld.
privacy:
This will list your current privacy settings.
privacy:block:telegrams or prv:b:t
This will block or unblock telegrams from everyone. This feature does NOT affect your contact list.
privacy:block:join
This will block or unblock joins from everyone.
privacy:block:invite
This will block or unblock invites from everyone.
privacy:confirm:join
This will allow you to switch on or off the ability to select "yes" or "no" to a join request.
privacy:confirm:invite
This will allow you to switch on or off the ability to select "yes" or "no" to an invite request.
