GuardBot: Bot Controllers / World CTs

This page contains information for using the bot's interface and commands for bot controllers. Bot controllers have access to some of the bot's settings and they have the ability to add and remove bot caretakers.

Bot Controller Commands

Bot Controllers have access to all of the commands of bot caretakers as well as the join and telegram commands. This page will list and describe the commands that are unique to bot controllers. Striked-out commands appear to have been removed from the latest release.

helpct/helpcit/helpt:

Helpct: will give the help listing for caretakers. Helpcit: will give the help listing for citizens. Helpt: will give the help listing for tourists.

addbotcontroller:citizenname#citizennumber

This will add another bot controller, e.g. addbotcontroller:Ryan#323279

deletebotcontroller:citizenname#citizennumber

This will delete a bot controller, e.g. deletebotcontroller:Ryan#323279

listbotcontrollers:

This will list all of the bot controllers.

addcaretaker:citizenname#citizennumber

This will add another bot caretaker, e.g. addbotcaretaker:Ryan#323279

deletecaretaker:citizenname#citizennumber

This will delete a bot caretaker, e.g. deletebotcaretaker:Ryan#323279

listcaretakers:

This will list all of the bot caretakers.

wipeuser:username

This will delete all builds by a certain tourist who has been registered with the bot. This option is only accessible by bot controllers.

wipeuntil:numberofdays

This will delete all builds older than the specified number of days. For example, wipeuntil:3 will delete all objects older than 3 days.


Bot Setting Commands

These settings change options accessible in the bot's interface or GUI. Version 2.1.4.39 does not list these in the help listing. Do not use these commands unless you are familiar with what they do.

autostart:enable/disable

This will enable or disable the automatic bot start setting. When enabled, the bot will start immediately when it is turned on.

autoload:enable/disable

This will enable or disable the automatic property load option. When enabled, the bot will automatically load all property upon startup it has in its database.

autoquery:enable/disable

This will enable or disable the automatic property query option. When enabled, the bot will automatically check all property in the world upon startup.

autovisitor:enable/disable

This will enable or disable the automatic visitor database load. When enabled, the bot will automatically load the visitor database upon startup.

welcomemsg:enable/disable

This will enable or disable the welcome message that is given to users when they enter the world.

worldsize:0,1,2,3, or 4

This will set the number of bots in proportion to the size of the world. (400m by 400m - 1 bot; 1200m by 1200m - 9 bots; 2000m by 2000m - 25 bots; 2800m by 2800m - 49 bots)

chatlog:enable/disable

This will enable or disable the chat logging feature of the bot.

botlogin#:

This will login the numbered bot again, e.g. botlogin#:5 would relogin [GuardBot5] or whatever name you have chosen.

botreport:

This command will set the default report settings for bot caretakers. Click here for an explanation of what each report parameter means.

botcontrol:

This command will list and set the options for building control. Here is an explanation for each of the parameters:

saveprofile:

Will save the profile (all of the settings you have selected).

savevisitors:

This will save the visitor database. Do not use this command if the bot is busy with something!

coronasize:#

This will set the maximum size for a corona to be allowed to be built in the world.
